Stone House Corral Monitor Valley, NV This is the corral enclosure at the Stone House Ranch. The corral, gates, and fences appear to be well maintained and in use to the present day - part of a working ranch. This image was taken in October of 2003, on my third trip to Belmont. On this night I had the opportunity to conduct an impromptu workshop on night photography and light painting for three guests I had met while staying at the Belmont Monitor Inn. We couldn't have asked for a nicer evening for night photography. The Moon was full, the air was calm, and the temperature was brisk, but not so chill as to be uncomfortable.
