Abandoned Mining Equipment #3 Ophir Canyon, NV Last shot of the night. Clouds continue to thicken overhead, while the snow comes down ever more heavily. The wind is becoming very strong and literally howls down the canyon. One last gust nearly took my tripod over. While I've dressed for the cold and anticipated 'snow showers' in the forecast, this wind is no fun to work with. I pack up and decide to head down the mountain while I can still see the road.
