Menhir #1 Goldfield, NV Like the standing-stones of prehistoric times, this modern 'art' seems to invoke something primitive - a sense of times and of people long past. In some far future time, I wonder, will anyone pause and ask, "Who built such things and where did they go?" Many of these 'stones' are scattered through the hills above Goldfield.
