Stone House Ruins #4 Monitor Valley, NV This photo of the Stone House was taken on my first trip to Belmont. The scene is very dark as the moon had yet to rise that evening. Several of the resident barn owls perched in the branches of the dead poplar trees as I worked this and other shots.
