Ruined Store Belmont, NV This was is one of the ruined stores along Main Street in Belmont. This may be the site of the original Belmont Market, constructed in 1867, although many businesses came and went over the years. In later years, this was the site of the Cosmopolitan Saloon and Hotel. This two story building was intact until recent years when it was deemed a 'hazard' and was pulled down. (Although it supposedly took quite an extraordinary effort to finally collapse the structure!)
