Rhyolite Residents Rhyolite, NV Here we have a group of the local residents stopping by to see what all the commotion is. (Again, what's a ghost town without ghosts?) This is part of the sculpture garden near the entrance to Rhyolite - a portion of the composition entitled, 'The Last Supper', based on the famous painting by the same name. At this point the clouds had returned to cloak the moon. The moving clouds did make for a very dramatic sky in such a long exposure. This is one of my last shots for the night; dawn was near. Time to grab a few hours of sleep before heading down through Titus Canyon to Death Valley - next evenings shoot - Wildrose Charcoal Kilns...
