Working the Late Shift Belmont Mill, NV This impressive mill ruin is the Belmont Mill, a fairly modern day mining operation, perhaps up to the 1970's. (I haven't found many details on this site, yet...) An extensive overhead tram system brought buckets of ore to the mill from the silver mine site located nearly two miles up the steep canyon. Many buildings remain at this site, including a large bunkhouse, as well as the mine and assay offices.
