Arch #1

Hamilton, NV

An archway and tumbled piles of brick and timber mark the site of Hamilton's Wells Fargo & Company bank and express office. This Wells Fargo office was constructed very shortly after the town was founded in 1869. In later years, this building would also serve as a post office and a mercantile store. In the distance, through the archway, can be seen the Withington Hotel ruin. Even further in the distance looms Treasure Hill.
