Visions #1 Volcanic Tablelands, CA These are a few of the many symbols inscribed on this massive split block of soft volcanic Tuff. Visible are a fine bighorn sheep symbol together with other, less recognizable, abstract or entopic patterns. Many of the symbols less deeply etched are already so badly weathered as to be almost unrecognizable. In another 1,000 years these, too, will likely have been entirely erased.
