Generator #1 Cerro Gordo Mine, CA This is the generator driven by the large Ingersoll-Rand motor. This generator would produce electricity to power the mine hoist, lights, pumps, fans, and other equipment for the Cerro Gordo Mine. Similar generators had apparently been removed and were missing from the Darwin Mine equipment.
