Inscription Cerro Gordo Mine, CA This cast iron or steel inscription is located near the ceiling over a bricked-up doorway behind the motor and generator unit at the Cerro Gordo Mine. One of the wooden slats from the ceiling dangles down in the foreground. To obtain this shot, I had to fully extend the camera tripod and setup atop the Ingersoll-Rand motor footing - a precarious perch, indeed.
